Attention all tech enthusiast BUETians. IEEE RAS BUET Student Branch presents you with a workshop - “Intro to the realm of IOT with ESP-32 : from scratch to building projects” .This is a basic introduction to the realm of Internet of things with the amazing development board esp-32. This 2 day long workshop consist of 2 sessions will cover the following topics:1.Introduction to internet of things
2.Interfacing with esp-32
3.Basics of communication protocols
4.Basics of arduino and micropython coding
5.Sensor interfacing
6.Some hands on easy to go projects and more advanced projects
You will get hands-on experience and fun to play with the amazing ESP-32 development board.Newcomers of batch 23 and students of batch-21 & 22 of BUET are encouraged to attend the workshop. Interested people can register individually or as a team consisting of a maximum of 4 members. Only Online registration is available via a google form. A confirmation mail will be sent through the 1st member(team leader) of the team. This workshop is only for the students of BUET..
Date: 1&2 August (It may change under unavoidable circumstances)
Registration fee:
300 tk (for each member)
250 tk( for member of 23 batch or with IEEE membership)
Each team will contain minimum one and maximum 4 members. If any of the team members have IEEE membership they will get 50tk off as per rules For example . For example,if your team consists of four members and two of them have IEEE membership you need to pay 300*2+250*2=1100 tk.

Enthusiasts have to bring the components with them while attending the workshop. These are available in local markets like Patuatuli, Mirpur Electronics market and various online shops(1500-2000 BDT). Installation of required software and others will be announced later. We will open a google classroom where registered members will be added and further resources will be shared at the classroom.
Each of the team members will get a participation certificate after completing the workshop. Snacks will be provided to each participant on each day of the workshop.
