Curious about the potter’s wheel but not ready to commit to a full class? This relaxed, no-pressure workshop is the perfect way to try it out.We’ll start with a short demonstration covering the basics of throwing on the wheel. After that, the rest of the hour is yours to play, explore, and get a feel for the clay at your own pace. This is a beginner-friendly experience—no prior experience needed.
Each participant will have 3 lbs of clay to work with. If you create a piece you’d like to keep, one glazed piece is included in the cost of the class. Additional pieces may be kept for $10 per piece. You’ll choose your glaze color, and I’ll take care of glazing and firing for you.
Finished pieces will be ready for pickup approximately 4 weeks after the class during open studio hours.(Pieces need to dry, fired, glazed and then fired again.) A text will be sent when ready, so please be sure to leave a correct phone number.
