About this Event
Tarot cards are a deck of 78 cards used for introspection, guidance, and storytelling. Originating in 15th-century Europe as playing cards, they evolved into tools for spiritual exploration. Each card features rich imagery and symbolism, making the deck a versatile tool for insight and reflection. People use tarot in various ways, such as for divination, where they seek guidance or answers to specific questions, or for self-reflection, exploring their emotions and thoughts. Some use tarot as part of a spiritual or meditative practice, pulling a card daily for inspiration or focus, while others find it helpful for creative pursuits like storytelling or art.
Intro to Tarot is a welcoming and open space for ANY skill level and completely non-scary. The workshop is part discussion, part practice. We will spend half the time studying a lesson, exercise, or spread from a book, and the other half doing a deep dive study into a specific Tarot Card. All participants will receive a copy of The Ultimate Guide to Tarot.
The class will be taught by Natalie Reyes. Natalie is a Reiki Master who has studied Tarot, Light Language, and Psychic/Mediumship, among other esoterica. Natalie is also a speech-language pathologist in private practice. She is a lifelong learner and enjoys participating in classes, workshops, and group learning. Natalie’s readings are for those who are open to kind and honest feedback in all life circumstances.
