Create a mug, gift bag and card using sublimation techniques. Add some cocoa and marshmallows and you have the perfect thoughtful gift!All ages are welcome! We ask that youth participants younger than 16 are accompanied by a parent/guardian. All attendees must purchase a ticket. Customize a canvas bag, coffee mug, and holiday greeting cards with sublimation printing. Assemble pre-printed graphics to create your own unique design, scrapbook-style.
We will use sublimation to transfer ink from your printed design directly onto the surface of the bags, mugs, and cards. The sublimation process uses a specific printer, ink, and paper to transfer your designs onto any compatible surface.
Once your designs are assembled, simply line them up on your item, tape them down, and heat-press for a specified time. Once the item is cooled, you can remove the paper and reveal a high-quality print.
The goal of this workshop is to discover the possibilities of sublimation ink transfer, and learn to operate the sublimation printer and heat press safely, all while creating a unique gift for yourself or others. Attendees are required to abide by all CITC safety and security protocols. CITC reserves the right at all times to remove person(s) from the premises for behavior that in CITC's judgement is inappropriate. CITC reserves the rights to use photos or videos taken of visitors during this event for publicity and promotional purposes. Every effort is made to make the visitors aware they are being photographed/filmed.
