Intro to Stranded Colour Work Knitting | Manchester Wool & Yarn

Join us in person at Manchester Wool & Yarn for a fun and relaxed introduction to stranded colour work knitting! Whether you're new to colour work or just want to sharpen your skills, this event is perfect for you.

What we'll cover...

• Chart reading
• Tension techniques
• Holding yarn when working with multiple strands
• The importance of colour dominance

To stake part in this workshop we ask that all participants are able to Knit & Purl prior to the event and some knowledge of knitting in the round would be helpful but not essential.

If You are providing your own yarn and needles you will need:

• 100g of a light coloured chunky weight yarn
• 100g of a darker coloured chunky weight yarn
• 5mm & 6mm 40cm circular needles

We are aiming to make a snood/cowl so bare that in mind when selecting your colours.

If you have selected to have thre yarn and needles provided they are yours yo take with you at the end of the workshop.
