Intro to Stand-Up is a course designed for people new to stand-up comedy who want to explore the art of writing and delivering a stand-up routine. Over four weeks, you’ll learn how to find your unique comedic voice, craft tight jokes, and deliver your first short set with confidence. You will: discover what makes stand-up work and why audiences laughWrite and workshop original material drawn from your own lifePractice essential performance skills, from timing to stage presencePerform a polished 3-5 minute set in a supportive environment. No experience necessary! Just bring your curiosity and a willingness to try something new. Whether you dream of hitting the big stage or just want to build confidence, this class will give you the tools to get started.Schedule: 9/17, 9/21, 9/28 - 6:30 - 9:30pm
