Intro to Stand Up Comedy

This weekly class for ages 12 and up introduces students to the essential elements of stand up comedy, guiding them through writing and performing a 5 minute stand up set. Emphasis on finding the funny rooted in lived experience and authentic voice.

Taught by ColdTowne favorite, Terence Yon, this class is a supportive, low stakes introduction to the basics of crafting a 5 minute set. Performance date(s) may change, but are currently scheduled for 5 pm Sunday, November 9 and 5 pm Sunday, November 16. Open to all levels of experience, ages 12 and up.
