Intro to Rope

In this rope skills workshop, we'll go over three essential ties that are commonly used in most situations. We'll cover single and double-column ties, a rapid tie, larkshead, slipknots and how to use them together to create safe and comfortable play.

Whether you are new to bondage, or looking to pick up new skills or build your confidence working with rope, this class will have something for you.

We welcome rope enthusiasts of all levels although this class is geared especially for newbies. Looking for a refresher or to make a new friend, join us! There will be plenty of time for practice with personal feedback and Q & A, and access to the custom BDSM furniture in a gorgeous private studio dungeon.

We'll cover:

• Safety and awareness
• Basic negotiation for play
• Single and double column ties
• Larkshead, slipknot, rapid tie
• Rope management and flow

What to bring:

• Wear comfortable clothing you can move in
• Any type of rope you have (cotton, hemp, jute, posh, nylon). Recommended lengths: 12', 30' and 6mm diameter
• A yoga or exercise mat for floor practice - we also have chairs
• Safe cutting tool

Jordan Wolan(she/her) has been in the BDSM community for over 20 years in a variety of roles from leather house sub to flogger maker to house domme; she’s feeling fantastic in her current role as instructor teaching the bondage & flogging classes for the past 7 years at Dungeon East.
