Who needs a treadmill when you could have rollerskates? Start the year off right and learn a new skill and get in shape with Hellgate Roller Derby!Our Roller Skating Camp starts Monday, January 26th!
This is course is every monday for 7 weeks with separate time slots for Juniors and Adults. The price is $60 for seven practices and access to extra practices in the week.
Safety (and fun) is our top priority. You will be taught how to safely stay up right, fall, stop, turn around and the basics of roller derby.
The first week will be off skates to set up attendees with gear and get everyone started.
We have a finite amount of gear available to borrow, so sign up asap!
Orientation is on Monday, 1/26 , followed by six weeks of on-skates, Monday sessions, (2/2, 2/9, 2/16, 2/23, 3/2, 3/9). Bootcamp skaters are also welcome to attend all-level practices on Tuesdays.
Location: 326 S Garfield St - Sussex School Gym
Park on the street or parking lot near the east entrance, you will then enter through the gate and keep walking straight till you reach the gym. There will be coaches available to guide you.
