Dates: October 2nd & 9th from 6 to 9 pm
In this 5-hour, two-part class you will learn all the basics from setting up the loom and getting ready to weave through to secure your weft with hemstitching to complete your project. Students will make a scarf using the Orchid Blossom pattern.
Class is 2-3 hours each session. Students should expect to spend 3-6 hours working at home on their project in preparation for the second class.
MATERIALS NEEDED:
200 grams of DK or worsted weight yarn
Tapestry needle
Scissors
LOOM RENTAL FEE:
There is a $30 loom rental fee which will be applied to the purchase of a loom if it is purchased during the class. You must provide a credit card number that will be charged for the full cost of the loom in the event that the loom is not returned on time or is damaged. You can pay your rental fee in the shop when you purchase yarn supplies.
