Intro to Relief Printing: Linocut Print 8/10

This beginner-friendly class serves as an introduction to the oldest form of printmaking - relief printing. You will be creating a single-color linocut print of your own design, and learning the basics of relief printing in the process. You will learn how to use (If member, this counts as certification on) the tabletop cylinder press, barens, and carving tools and become familiar with the processes associated with beginner relief printing: transferring a design, carving/mark-making, inking, and printing.

Please bring a printout of a simple design (remember that your relief print will be a mirror image of the design you print out). If you don't have one, one will be provided.
