Welcome to our monthly Intro to Quilting class! This quilting beginner-friendly class meets the second Saturday of every month in 2025, led by our talented instructor Jackie Cory. January through September, she offers instruction on how to piece and applique a variety of quilt designs. Learn paper piecing, machine applique, reverse applique, crazy patch, sewing "Y" seams, and more. Each class focuses on a different square pattern. October, November, and December will focus on finishing techniques, ending the year with a completed wall hanging. A fabric scrap kit and directions will be included. Each of the classes is an independent unit, so feel free to take one, two, or as many as you can.True sewing beginners should consider taking Sewing Machine Basics or a private sewing lesson prior to starting quilting classes.
