Welcome to our monthly Intro to Quilting class! This quilting beginner-friendly class meets the second Saturday of every month in 2025, led by our talented instructor Jackie Cory. January through September, she offers instruction on how to piece and applique a variety of quilt designs. Learn paper piecing, machine applique, reverse applique, crazy patch, sewing "Y" seams, and more. October, November, and December will focus on finishing techniques, ending the year with a completed wall hanging. A fabric scrap kit and directions will be included.Join us for some or all of these informative classes! (True sewing beginners should consider taking Sewing Machine Basics or a private sewing lesson prior to starting quilting classes.)
