About this Event
THIS IS AN IN PERSON WORKSHOP IN HALIFAX
Participants will learn the essentials of QLab; the ubiquitous macOS cue playback software used in nearly every theatrical production. From simple playback to more sophisticated sequences involving fades, groups, and more, participants will gain a solid foundation of the creative potential of this tool and will understand how to create their own designs or make edits to existing ones. This two-hour workshop will be a curious, fun, and judgement-free zone with expert guidance and space for discussion and questions.
*For hands-on learning, participants should bring their own Mac laptop and headphones. Audio files will be provided for the participants to use. QLab software can be downloaded for free here: https://qlab.app/
