QI- Gong is a breathing technique used for thousands of years and said to have originated with the monks of Tibet. There are many typeds and styles of breathing techniques that can be used for different purposes. This one, in particular, is beneficial for increasing oxygen and Qi-( life force energy)down to the dantiem( the power house ) found in ines abdomen. This technique increases vitality and can help one ease into a meditative state bypassing the need to " clear your mind". Also, it can be expanded in many ways to intensify the practice. In this workshop- we will learn and experience the breathing technique and use intentions to amplify the results with our breath. Join us for this restorative and healing modality to use in daily life that has been proven to decrease anxiety, and promote deeper lung function.
