About this Event
This is a 3+ part class to begin your pottery journey. Each class is around 2-hours. You will learn the basics: preparing the clay, throwing on the wheel & trimming.
This is 2 days in a row for the first set of classes(Tuesday and Wednesdays). The third class will happen after first pieces are bisque fired.
MEMBERS may use the pottery studio after the first class, and should practice their new skills. I am almost always there Thursdays 5pm to 10pm for open house and most Saturdays. Non-members can schedule a practice session with me after first class.
This intro provides a very small class size to get efficient at the basics of throwing clay on the wheel. All materials are included. Bring an apron, you will get dirty!
