About this Event
Kat Nyman has enjoyed a (thus far) 12 year career working in vineyards, cellars and in sales for micro-boutique wineries, and for the last five years, Ontario’s first and largest importer of organic, biodynamic and natural wines, The Living Vine.
Kat takes her job— sharing the stories and the passion and hard work that goes into making wine around the globe— very seriously. Acting as the conduit from a growers’ vineyard to imbiber’s glass is an honour and a dream come true!
Join Kat for an evening of doing her favourite things— drinking organic/biodynamic/natural wine and talking about it! Together we will taste through and discuss a series of wines that lay along the spectrum of organic to natural and give context to the conventional vs. natural conversation. We’ll touch on everything from agriculture, to politics surrounding certifications, to what the hell is an orange wine and more! The only rule is there are no rules.
