How much do you really notice about the world around you each day? Learn to observe and journal your surroundings in this nature workshop!
About this Event

Can you identify the species of birds found in your backyard? The types of trees in your local park? The daily activities of the family of foxes down the road?

Nature journaling is an incredible practice that helps connect us to the outdoors and offers a better understanding of the world we live in.

This type of journaling involves immersing oneself in nature, practising quiet observation and encourages curiosity of the plants, animals and landscapes all around us.

Join CPAWS Manitoba for a nature journaling workshop to introduce you to the creative mindfulness practice.

In this workshop held outdoors at Crescent Drive Park, you'll learn tips, techniques and interactive activities to get you started on your own nature journaling journey.

Note: This is not an art workshop and no artistic talent is required. Perfect for beginners and outdoor enthusiasts of all ages!

Please bring:

  • A pen or pencil
  • A journal (any type or kind!)
  • A chair or blanket for sitting

If you are unable to bring a journal, we will have supplies for you!

We will meet at site 3 of Crescent Drive Park.
