Ages 10-12
In this next course level, students will continue to develop and hone their performance skills through age appropriate acting techniques as they work together as an ensemble to create well-developed characters in a fully realized world. Both theatre terminology and performance techniques are expanded. This class will culminate in a Finale of At the Bandstand! (Saturday class) and Off Their Rockers (Wednesday Class).
Saturday Class: At the Bandstand!
When Rockin' Robin, host of the hit TV show At the Bandstand!, announces an on-air dance-off to join the popular Bandstand Kids, Cindy and her gaggle of girlfriends jump at the chance! But in order to succeed, Cindy will need to out-shine the spoiled daughter of the show's corporate sponsor. This easy-to-stage musical is an absolute blast, with familiar '50s songs, clever characters, and hilarious punch lines to spare!
Wednesday Class: Off Their Rockers
Our story takes place in a senior center where all is quiet and calm and perhaps a bit boring; that is until the Center Director decides to use music and dance to bring fun and excitement into the lives of the seniors. Through songs and dances that were very much a part of the seniors' past, the Director, along with friends and family, encourage the seniors to get “off their rockers” and join in on the fun.
When are Intro to Musical Theatre II classes?
12 Classes:
Saturdays, January 3rd – March 14th from 10 AM – 12 PM
Please Note: There will not be class on Saturday, February 21st, due to Winter Break.
Class on Saturday, March 14th will run from 10am- 3pm. Students will need lunch on this day.
There will be a Technical Rehearsal followed by a Finale on Tuesday, March 17th.

12 Classes:
Wednesdays, January 7th – March 11th from 5 PM - 7 PM
Please Note: There will not be class on Wednesday, February 18th, due to Winter Break. As a result, we will be extending Wednesday, March 4th and Wednesday, March 11th by one hour- the class will run from 4:30pm-7:30pm on these days. There will be a Technical Rehearsal followed by a Finale on Sunday, March 15th
What does the Intro to Musical Theatre II class cost?
Tuition is $260 (Full tuition is due at registration.)
