*pre-registration required*What is soldering? In this case, we will be using silver solder to connect our jewelry; it can be finicky but is also a ton of fun! Students will learn to use a jeweler's saw, files, and sandpaper to prep their metal rings. Then, we solder!
Students will have the option of copper or sterling silver wire for their rings, and may add texture to the metal should they choose. We will also create a ring from sheet metal if we have time. If you want to know more, join us!
Please wear natural fibers, close-toed shoes, full length pants, and have any long hair pulled back. If you would like to bring your own safety glasses you may; otherwise, we will have extras here.
