What is Linux?
Linux is an open-source Operating System (OS) that is used in practically every facet of the tech world. Whether it is a career in infrastructure, coding/development, cyber security etc., it is critical for today's professional to be comfortable with Linux.
Who should attend this Hackathon?
All college students & career changing professionals!
If you are considering pursuing a career in technology and want to learn the fundamentals of Linux, this event is for you!
If you have no experience at all or very little experience w/ Linux, this is a Hackathon you will not want to miss!
What do I need to participate?
-A Personal Laptop (Details requested on the Applicant Form)
-A signed waiver (See more on our FAQs page)
-Determination and a willingness to Learn
The Hackathon is low cost for guests! On top of that, you will leave with an understanding of Linux that will prepare you for the Linux Professional Institute (LPI) Linux Essentials Certification, a network of peers, AND of course, BNT Swag!
Refreshments will be provided to keep participants fueled!
