Krav Maga INTRODUCTORY Workshop: Master the Foundation of Self-Defense
Join us for an empowering 75 minute Krav Maga workshop, open to ALL SKILL LEVELS. Krav Maga is a martial art focused on real-world self-defense and street-fighting techniques. With no rules, Krav Maga teaches you to target vulnerable areas such as the groin, solar plexus, and throat—areas that cannot be strengthened in the gym.
In this workshop, you will learn:
- The foundation of self-defense
- Evasion and defense tactics
- How to defend against multiple opponents
- Techniques to protect your loved ones You are guaranteed to leave this workshop feeling confident in your ability to protect yourself.

AriFit Krav Maga Self Defense workshops are 90 minute hands-on effective training to stay safe and enhance your awareness - this IS valuable for all skill levels.
Training and techniques are based on real-life situations and incorporate Krav Maga fundamental tactics.
You WILL learn how to:
-use your intuition to evade danger
-guide children/loved ones away from harm
-enhance environmental awareness
-escape San Diego's most common street attacks
-use nonverbal communication as a defense tool
-and methods to override freeze response
Each workshop always differs, no one workshop will ever be the same.
Weekends are dedicated to private self-defense training.

My Journey In Self-Defense:
At 18, I completed 2200 hours of instructor training and became the youngest female Krav Maga Self-Defense instructor in the United States. I'm extremely passionate about empowering all genders on what it actually means to "fight like a girl".
As a professional instructor, I continue to train in boxing, Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, and Tai Chi!
After over 13 years of Krav Maga training experience & over 11 years of instructing, I continue to adapt my martial arts mindset in order to understand what is best for the people who are starting their self-defense, mma, and mobility journey!

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR, Ari:
Krav Maga Self-Defense
As a tween, I always felt like the "odd one out.” At 13 years old, my dad bribed me into enrolling in Krav Maga classes. Krav Maga translates to "contact combat" and is the official system of the Israel military. I resisted yet attended reluctantly. My dad had stopped his seven years of Krav Maga training just after I was born.
Sooner rather then later, I learned to LOVE the power that my training gave me. I felt more powerful then ever before, I stood tall and I carried myself with so much more confidence. I started assisting in as many classes as possible.
Within the first few years, I would attend training up to five days a week. Soon, I was often invited to assist the classes and extracurricular events.
Sometimes during training, my partners would tell me "strike harder! you hit like a girl." Statements like this bothered me so much but that was also my catalyst to continue training and expanding my skills.
Krav Maga training was very intense and I had a lot of pressure put on me especially because I looked and acted older than my teen self. I yearned so badly to train as hard and strong as the high-level males in the class.
Self-defense became my pride and passion, especially since I was able to surround myself with a like-minded community and a place where I belonged.
