In our Intro to Jewellery Making workshop you’ll learn how to use pliers to create your own jewellery. By shaping silver plated wire you’ll make your own earrings and bracelet incorporating colourful Czech glass beads. You’ll learn the key skill of how to create neat loops using wire and round nose pliers.
Loops can be used in lots of different jewellery. Making this class a great starting point for your jewellery making journey. Equally if you just fancy spending a few hours making yourself some jewellery, (or as a gift) it’s a great relaxing activity. Perfect to do with friends and family.
Our Intro to Jewellery Making workshop is ideal for building your confidence with wirework. It is a great introduction to making your own jewellery and is an ideal class for a complete beginners. Also great opportunity for anyone who would like to finesse their jewellery making skills. Or is in need of a refresher class brush up on skills. The workshop is taught by one of our skilled tutors who have a wealth of jewellery making knowledge. Feel free to take the opportunity to pick their brain about design, other skills and where you can take your jewellery making journey next.
Some of the beads used in this workshop are quite small, so if you usually use a magnifier or glasses for close work, please bring those along with you.
