This workshop is an introduction to topics that are covered extensively in our 8-hour first-time home buyer education course and in our one-on-one counseling sessions. In this workshop, we discuss risks and benefits of buying a home, how to get prepared to buy a home- creating a spending plan, establishing, maintaining, or repairing credit, saving for downpayment, shopping, and purchase.
