Join us for the first day-course in our Intro to Herbalism Series, with herbalist and foraging guide Fern Maythorn This series will be exploring how to forage, apply and prepare wild medicines in tune with the turning of the wheel. Learn how to empower yourself, connect to nature and heal yourself and others with herbal medicine and wild food direct from the land.
What You'll Experience:
Foraging Walk 10.30am-12pm: This guided foraging walk will teach you how to identify and harvest powerful medicinal and edible plants that thrive in winter and autumn. Connect with the land and gather the ingredients to make your own health-supporting remedies. Learn foraging golden rules, plant folklore and more.

Intro to Herbalism: We’ll explore how working with herbs can help you create a more self-sufficient, natural approach to wellness. Learn a brief history of herbalism, intro to herbal Materia Medica (deeply get to know some of the most fundamental herbs for your toolkit and some beautiful home-remedy essentials)
Wild Cold and Flu Remedy Making Demonstration: Witness how easy it is to transform wild plants into effective remedies for common winter ailments. Fern will show you step by step how to create your own powerful cold and flu remedy to make year after year. Recipe card and a fresh bottle of cold and flu remedy included to take home for your growing natural medicine cabinet.
Tincture Making Workshop: Roll up your sleeves and dive into the ancient art of tincture making, using our foraged herbs. Create your own potent immunity herbal tincture to take home or create your own personal recipe.
This course is for those who want to reclaim their health and connect to the ancient practice of herbalism. By the end of the day, you’ll not only have new skills and knowledge but also the confidence to create your own nourishing medicines to work with for your own vitality. Lunch and refreshments are available to buy from the beautiful Soul Wellness Hub cafe.
