Wanna drop some moves and feel the rhythm? Think you can’t dance? We dare you to try! Motion Arts Center is throwing down an Intro to Hip-Hop workshop, and it’s for EVERYBODY!
No experience? Perfect! Get ready to join the awesome Francesca for two high-energy sessions where you’ll learn the foundational moves of hip-hop, feel the beat, and unlock your inner dancer. Forget complex routines, this is all about building confidence and having a blast with fun, accessible steps.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or just looking to try something new, this is for you! Spaces are limited, so lock in your spot now and get your groove on!
What to Expect: Get ready to master the basic bounce that fuels hip-hop. We’ll explore footwork foundations like the two-step and grapevine, along with fun ways to isolate your chest, arms, and head for added flavor. You’ll understand how these fundamentals create the flow and style you see in hip-hop.
When: Saturday January 11th, 2025.
Time: 2pm-4pm
Price per person:
$35 Drop-in rate (Early Bird until 01/07/2025) or $40 regular price after that.

About your instructor Francesca: Her love for dance started young, with early training in ballet and tap, and then exploded when she began her competitive dance journey at 8. Her passion took her to hip-hop, where she's dedicated the last 10 years to mastering the style. She's has also trained in jazz, ballet, and lyrical, giving her a deep appreciation for diverse dance forms. Francesca’s versatility and dedication make her an wonderful guide for your hip-hop journey!
