Want to spend more time in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, but unsure how to begin? Hiking is a wonderful way to immerse yourself in the outdoors and provides a great source of relaxation and physical fitness. With a little planning and preparation, hiking is an activity that almost anyone can do! Absolutely ZERO experience required – in fact encouraged! We’ll spend approximately one hour learning the basics, providing suggestions for what to pack, and answering all of your questions. Afterwards, you’ll test your new skills on a short and easy hike (approximately 2 miles).
Open to women ages 12 and older; minors must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. No pets please.
Registration is NOT required for this activity. The group size is open to the first 15 who check in with the activity leader. Though the event is free, entrance fees to the Natural Area apply.
