Introduction to Gouache Painting
Class Description:
Discover the versatility and vibrant beauty of gouache in this hands-on, two-hour introductory workshop! Perfect for beginners or those looking to explore a new medium, this class will cover the basics of working with gouache, a water-based paint that combines the opacity of acrylic with the fluidity of watercolor.
You’ll learn foundational techniques such as layering, blending, and creating texture, while experimenting with color mixing and composition. This class will help you build confidence in using this unique medium!
By the end of the workshop, you'll complete a small painting to take home and have the skills to continue exploring gouache on your own. All materials are provided—just bring your creativity!
