You might have heard that fly fishing is just for trout, but nothing could be further from the truth. You can catch anything from warm water species like bass and sunfish at a local pond, to bonefish and permit on a saltwater flat, and even big gamefish like tuna and marlin. It just takes a slight adjustment in your tackle and technique.
Join Steve from Destinations Fly Fish (destinationsflyfish.com) for a fun and informative overview of the exciting sport of fly fishing. They'll cover the basics of gear selection, knot tying, and fly casting with hands-on lessons in the parking lot immediately following the presentation. By the end of the class, students should have the general knowledge required to catch fish on the fly!
