Equine Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) may help prevent or may facilitate the healing of other common equine disorders such as:• Remove excess fluid (Stocking up) = Lymphedema and Cellulitis
• Summer Eczema (Scratches/Mud Fever)

• Sinus conditions and Allergies
• Clogged tear ducts
• Navicular Syndrome
• Fibro Myalgia
• Pre-surgical or post-surgical applications
• Prevents Laminitis, Abscesses, Soft tissue Injuries, Stone Bruises etc.
• Acidification prevention (Lactic Acid) and tying up
• After any injuries and surgeries
In this hands-on workshop, you will learn the theory of how the Lymphatic System works ~ How horses develop Lymphedema ~ Benefits of MLD etc.
The ‘Hands On’ Segment will be covering “The Laymen’s MLD Grooming Technique” – a simple technique designed to clear the Congested Lymph Channels that anyone can perform on their horse.
We will also cover some Lymphatic Kinesiology Taping Applications.
You will receive a workbook with all information, diagrams, and techniques covered during the workshop.
*Class limited to 10 participants – there are lots of Horses available at the stable to work on, or you can bring your own. Two participants can work on a horse together if need be.
There are stalls provided and please provide your own hay and water pails, proof of vaccination, and be free from any signs of illness or showing/clinic events for 10 days prior.
*Morning snacks and water is provided
