Welcome to an Introduction to Empowerment Self Defense for Female-Identified and Non-Binary Folx! Join Empowerment Self Defense Instructor Dez Shallenberg at The Grotto for an interactive and engaging event. This workshop will teach the foundations of self defense including awareness and intuition, boundary setting, leaving situations safely, and ways to physically defend ourselves using the weapons we are born with, including our voice. Come dressed for comfort. We will be practicing movement and full force strikes. All levels of fitness and ability are welcomed, safety is for everyone!
