Intro to Drawing 101 with Nancy Riecken

10:00 AM – 1:00 PM | 3-Part Workshop
In this three-part workshop, we'll cover the basics of drawing, including perspective, landscape, and portraiture. The first class will focus on drawing three-dimensional objects on a flat surface, with an emphasis on shaping, shading, and realistic drawing. During the second class, we will cover perspective techniques, emphasize near-to-far techniques with a variety of objects, followed by landscape drawing using your own photos. In our last class we will focus on portraiture, where you'll learn to draw faces and animals from various angles. Students are encouraged to independently practice the techniques learned in each class.
