Don't miss this incredible multi-day seminar to begin training for and competing in North American Dock Diving Dogs (NADD)! Come and learn from Certified Canine Fitness Trainer (CCFT) and experienced Dock Diving competitor, Ronny LeJeune. She brings a wide range of knowledge and skills to assist all dogs reach their goals.
The workshop will use 50 foot indoor pool with a regulation length dock to teach the teams the behaviors needed to begin their journey in NADD.
Dock experience is not required. Swimming experience is beneficial; but not required.
The workshop is broken into individual blocks to allow teams flexibility to provide instruction based on their current skills:
Saturday @ 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM = Swimming Lessons, Block 1
Saturday @ 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM = Dock Diving Foundation Skills, Block 1
Sunday @ 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM = Swimming Lessons, Block 2
Sunday @ 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM = Dock Diving Foundation Skills, Block 2
Each block is $75 per working team (1 dog + handler).
The full weekend is $250 per working team which saves $50!
Auditors can watch the full weekend for $75.
Requirements for Working Teams:
1, Not nervous or reactive towards unknown people
2, Work with a strange person
3, Play with toys in busy environments
4, Crate in car or indoor facility. The hosting facility is climate controlled and has crating options for those interested.
