About this Event
Designing and producing shop grade drawings for fabrication to high purity standards.
This is a 4 part series including:
Day 1: Use and function of the Pipe Trades Pro calculator
Day 2: Trade Math / Detailing related
Day 3: Isometric Drawing/ Detailing basics
Day 4: Detailing techniques/ Gate test examples and standards.
It is advised to attend these classes in sequence, however the first 2 classes can be “stand alone.”
Open to interested Local 290 apprentices and journeyman plumbers and fitters and travelers on our books.
Books & Supplies:
REQUIRED: Intro to Detailing Binder - $40 (available as an add on item at checkout for pickup at first class) The book MUST be purchasd prior to class. The book store/main office is not open during the weekends.
REQUIRED: Pipe Trades Pro Calculator (available for purchase thru membership office)
Fee: $35 (fee waived for Local 290 members)
Credits: 32 Hours towards Local 290s Continuing Education Benefit
Class Limit: The minimum number of students required for this class to run is 6**.
