About this Event
This four-hour class will cover safe and proper setup of the Bridgeport milling machine through lecture and hands-on demonstrations. The course is designed for new users who have a strong interest in metalworking tools. We will first teach how to install and remove tooling, set up and use vises, and select and change spindle speeds. We will then teach the basics of operating the tool, including end mills and slot milling, conventional and climb milling operations, use of an edge finder, and hole spotting and boring.
