Join Blue Moon Haven on Monday nights at 6 pm for their beginner Belly Dance class at 5400 W. Franklin Suite L, Boise. Open to everyone 13 and up, no experience needed! Drop-in classes are $15, monthly is $50, and a special pre-pay rate for the February and March 9-week session is $90. We welcome women of all shapes, sizes, and ages who love to dance! Belly Dance is for every woman—learn the vocabulary of this beautiful global dance style. Belly dance is a fantastic low-impact way to improve posture, build self-confidence, and develop core strength and flexibility. Students will learn foundational belly dance movements and combinations in the FCBD format, using slow movements and fast steps focused on group improvisation. You'll be dancing in your very first class!
Blue Moon Haven Belly Dance exclusively teaches FatChance BellyDance Style®, under the guidance of Dana Johnson, a Certified FatChanceBellyDance ATS Belly Dance Instructor. This empowering dance embraces the diversity of women and their bodies, offering a supportive environment for women of all ages, sizes, and shapes. Whether you're looking for exercise, performance opportunities, or simply something fun and exciting to do for yourself, this class has it all.
Classes are held at the Cairo Fusion Dance Studio, located at the corner of Franklin and Phillippi, next to Fred Meyer. Enter through the front door on Phillippi, Suite L (Bella Vardo).
