A New Class by Master Artisan CindyTHIS IS A TECHNIQUE CLASS NOT A PROJECT CLASS.
Bead crochet is skill that allows you to create soft, supple ropes using an endless variety of materials.
It can be a challenging skill to pick up so class size will be limited to no more than 3 students in order to allow one- on-one instruction.
Students will begin learning on “trainer” crochet ropes using large beads to learn the basic “slip stitch” technique.
They will then learn how to load beads using a leader cord to make a three-color spiral pattern.
Additional skills taught will include adding thread and how to pick up a dropped stitch.
Prior crochet experience is helpful but not required.
Students will need to supply their own 4mm crochet hook.
