Taking place on May 23 at 7 pm, Hike Nova Scotia’s Intro to Backpacking Cape Chignecto clinic will be hosted by Mountain Equipment Company in Halifax (1550 Granville St.). It is geared for those preparing to backpack the Cape Chignecto loop for the first time and facilitated by Deborah Peddle-Hann of Journey to Wellness. This free clinic is offered in partnership with Journey to Wellness, Mountain Equipment Company and the NS Department of Communities, Culture, Tourism and Heritage.
