About this Event
Join BORP for an introduction to three-wheel bikes and how they empower people with disabilities. We’ll kick things off with a short show-and-tell followed by a five-mile group ride.
We are all temporarily able-bodied—at some point, we may need to adapt our bikes to keep riding. BORP supports cyclists using handcycles and foot trikes, offering a range of designs from simple and budget-friendly to high-performance models, competition-level machines, and some that are just plain fun to ride.
Topics we’ll cover:
-Getting on and off the bikes
-Electric assist systems
-Tandem trikes
-How to be a supportive volunteer
All abilities welcome— come ride, learn, and be part of an inclusive cycling community!
