Welcome to Acting Essentials – Your Gateway to the World of Acting!

• Gain a thorough understanding of acting – debunking assumptions and making informed decisions about pursuing acting professionally.
• Explore three recognized acting techniques (Meisner, Strasberg, Practical Aesthetics) and learn how to implement them for authentic emotional performances.

• Enhance emotional intelligence and grasp the importance of "living truthfully through imaginary circumstances" for compelling acting.

• Learn to communicate effectively, articulating thoughts and emotions instinctually in any scene.

• Dive into the business side of the industry – agents, demo reels, casting calls, callbacks, headshots, resumes, unions, and more.

• Master script reading, analysis, and dissecting, applying substitution, assigning tactics to dialogue, and infusing personal meaning into your work.

• Discover the art of slating, auditioning in-person and via self-tape, and audition etiquette.
