Join local artist Mystic Wilde for a hands-on workshop focused on the fundamentals of acrylic painting. This class is perfect for beginners or anyone looking to sharpen their skills. You will learn to handle paints and understand basic color mixing by creating a festive pumpkin still life.
In this class, you'll cover:
Materials Overview: Get familiar with different brush types, paints, palettes, and surfaces like canvas or paper.
Color Theory: Learn how to mix primary and secondary colors and understand the difference between warm and cool tones.
Hands-on Practice: Apply your new skills by creating a color wheel or an abstract color blending piece.
This workshop will be held on Tuesday, October 14, from 6 pm to 9 pm at the Ludington Area Center for the Arts. All supplies are included in the registration fee: $35 for LACA members and $45 for non-members.
