*Thunder Spirits Circle: A Gathering for Adolescents Walking Between Worlds* - the August Intro sessions are open to parents and kids.There’s a time in a young person’s life, between childhood and early adulthood, when everything begins to shift. Emotions run deep. Energy moves wildly. A spark of power, purpose, and even rebellion begins to stir. But too often, there’s nowhere for that spark to land.
Some cultures call this the thundering years: a time when young people begin unlocking their gifts, their medicine for the world. It’s powerful, but it can also be overwhelming.
We know this firsthand with our own child. That’s why we’re creating Thunder Spirits Circle: a space of belonging, guidance, and initiation for kids ages 11–14 who are in that in-between place - too big for little kid shoes, not yet in grown-up ones. It’s a recurring space where they’ll be seen, heard, and reminded they’re not alone in what they’re navigating.
We’ll gather twice a month, sometimes at our space in Sibiu, sometimes outdoors in nature.
We’re keeping the group small (max 10) to foster trust and safety through shared experiences, ritual, community, and the kind of mentorship that honors the deep wisdom alive in each child.
