About this Event
Origami, a paper favorite of our childhoods, has grown up! Come experience the creative and calming, technically wondrous art used by mathematicians, scientists, and artisans around the world. The possibilities extend beyond cranes and pandas. Learn an ancient art, take home something beautiful!
Join Janet Poirrier in the Local Art Gallery on Sunday, November 3 from 1-3:30pm, for an afternoon exploring origami. Participants will create a booklet or cardholder and, possibly, a modular form if there’s time. The class will begin with a more simple model and then continue on to one of the more intricate forms, giving each person a choice of levels.
Paper, instructions, and other materials are provided by instructor. Participants who have a bone folder are encouraged to bring it.
$20, all materials included. Ages 16+
Only 6 seats, so reserve your spot today!
