About this Event

This course follows the safety and energetic procedures of designing a healing conduit. The session begins with basic energetic principles and an introduction to tool safety. Basic jewelry-making plier sets will be available for group use during the session. The course moves into introductory wire working as scholars develop familiarity with setting stones of varying sizes into copper frames. The session acts as an interactive meditation guide as scholars are exposed to the healing qualities of the copper and granted information regarding the metaphysical qualities of the precious stone. At the end of class, scholars will have completed a copper wrapped crystal conduit to wear or place in their homes. Educational materials for at-home practice is provided along with a take-home meditation guide.

My name is Lark Dixon. I am a 27-year-old black woman, born and raised in Washington, DC. I was introduced to energy healing as a child and have developed sacred respect for the power and art of healing. The study of healing energies is my passion, practice, and profession. I design wire-wrapped crystal jewelry and home decor to cleanse and conduct energy. I use copper wire for conducting energies and crystals to alter the vibrations. In addition to these mediums, I use laser engraving machines to cut intricate designs into metal, glass, and wood materials. My electrical engineering background grants me the ability to build small machines from scratch and allows this practice to be more mobile. The ability to design my own tools for this creation has deepened my relationship with this art and opened my imagination to so many new ideas regarding the manipulation of materials and energy around me.
