Into the Woods

Into the Woods is a musical by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine that intertwines the plots of classic Brothers Grimm fairy tales, following characters like Cinderella, Jack, Little Red Riding Hood, and a Baker and his wife. The story is split into two acts: the first act sees each character's wish granted, while the second act explores the disastrous, unintended consequences of those fulfilled desires and how the characters must learn to live with their actions. The musical is known for its dark humor, complex score, and themes of responsibility, community, and the darker side of "happily ever after"

We will be performing at The Studio Theatre, located in the Simi Town Center mall, unit 545. Parking is free.
