About this Event
A beautiful staged concert production of the beloved, Tony-award winning musical!
Co-produced by CRAFT Leesburg, Smallmouth Sound Co., and Faith Chapel Gathering Place for All. Directed by Danielle Guy. All proceeds from this production will be donated to Equality Loudoun, Loudoun County's preeminent LGBTQ+ advocacy organization.
An epic reimagining of classic fairytales about wishes, family, and the choices we make.
The story follows a Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King's Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. Everyone's wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results.
This show is recommended for ages 12+ - have younger kids who like musicals? Bring them to our special "Family-Friendly Preview" performance! Sunday, November 9th at 1pm we'll be performing Act 1 only which is appropriate for all ages. This performance will be followed by a meet and greet and instrument petting zoo with the cast, art workshop with local artist Liz Nugent (who designed our poster art!), and snacks in the fellowship hall.
