Lace up your hiking boots and join us for a hike on Old Baldy Trail at Candle Lake Provincial Park. Our knowledgeable Park Interpreters will guide you through the unique flora and fauna that you will see along the trail as you hike through a changing scenery of wetlands and forest on this 6 km hike.Agenda:
10 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. - Welcome and Warm-up
Learn safety tips and tricks to plan your next hike and get ready to head out on Old Baldy Trail with a warm-up stretch before we hit the trail.
10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. - Into the Pines Guided Hike
Head out on the beautiful Old Baldy Trail with park interpreters. Take in breathtaking forest views on this 5.8-kilometre hike as you discover what makes Candle Lake Provincial Park special and unique. Bring your own packed lunch for a mid-hike break.
1:30 p.m. - 2 p.m. Snacks and Refreshments
Join us for snacks and socializing following the hike.
This event is free with a valid Park Entry Permit.
