Into the cave: Monthly Shamanic Drum Circle

Come into the cave each month and experience the timeless wisdom and healing power of the drum as you tap into the vibration of the Universe! Drumming is an immensely powerful tool for accessing healing, transformation, connection and spiritual growth. Its use dates back at least 40 '000 years, to the earliest days of human consciousness; and the fact that it is still very popular today, attests to its efficacy as an empowering and enlightening praxis.

Whether you are a seasoned practitioner, a curious beginner or have never held a rhythm; there’s a welcoming space for you to drum, chant and journey with like-minded creative seekers. Reconnect with the resonance of Nature, the radiance of your spirit, and your allies and ancestors as we follow the sonic drive of the drum into the betwixt and between realms. This is an experiential approach to wisdom and wellness that is reliably insightful and deeply profound. It’s also a huge amount of fun! Recent research is demonstrating that drumming reduces physical pain, anxiety and stress, boosts creativity and floods the body with all the feel-good hormones.

Each month will have a different theme that will relate to the turning Wheel of the Year and whatever is arising within and around us as we come together. Elin Morgan is an experienced Shamanic Practitioner, Esotericist and Astrologer. She began her formal neo-Shamanic training as an apprentice working in the Michael Harner lineage and continues to develop her practice, undergoing regular formal initiations. While holding the space, Elin will also share various classic techniques that will enable you to connect with the Spirit of the Drum anytime you so wish!

It’s a good idea to bring a bottle of water and perhaps a notebook with you, but other than that no previous skill or experience is necessary and you can even borrow a drum if you don’t already own one. The drum circle will be held every month and you are welcome to attend as many or as few as you like.
