About this Event
Learn about Intimacy Coordinating from Georgia Johnson, the Intimacy Coordinator for Emily in Paris, Karen Pirie & Silent Witness!
What the workshop will cover:
Reflecting progressive changes in film, television and theatre, the use of Intimacy Coordinators has become an industry norm. Yet, there remains a lack of awareness of what Intimacy Coordinators do and how they enrich working environments and improve the quality of the work.
This workshop aims to introduce the basic principles and practices utilised by ICs and demonstrates how their presence can elevate storytelling by fostering trust and collaboration. Workshop participants will learn how integrating ICs into their workflow can streamline production, reduce risk, and uphold industry standards, all while supporting the creative vision. Ideal for those wanting to create impactful, respectful, and empowered sets.
