Interwoven: Woven Together - Felt Christmas Ornaments
Special Operations Forces Spouses are invited to join The Station Foundation for an evening of creativity and connection. In this festive workshop, you’ll learn the art of needle felting while crafting your own beautiful Christmas ornaments, a perfect blend of mindfulness, imagination, and holiday spirit.
Under gentle guidance, participants will explore the techniques of shaping and blending wool fibers into unique felted designs. Your creations can become heartfelt gifts or cherished additions to your own tree; each ornament carring its own story of presence, peace, and creativity.
This workshop offers more than just a craft; it’s an invitation to slow down and reconnect with yourself and others. Felting with wool is accessible, forgiving, and deeply grounding. As you sculpt with your hands, you’ll also cultivate mindfulness, focus, and a renewed sense of calm, a soothing antidote to the rush of the season. Together, we’ll reflect on the meaning of being woven together, as families, as communities, and as individuals who hold space for one another during times of transition and joy alike.

What to Expect:
The class instructor, Heather Cloninger, will be prepared with many beautiful creation options for you to choose from to make the piece uniquely yours.
- Come in comfortable "play clothes".
- Bring your inspiration and come prepared to create.
- No prior experience is required, and all materials are provided.
